COVID-19 Update

***UPDATE 4/28/2020***

River Country Eye Care REMAINS OPEN to provide essential care to our community.

This includes urgent eye health needs such as a sudden vision change, eye pain, redness or discharge, flashes of light in vision, new or significantly changed floaters in vision, or an eye injury. We will also continue to be available for appointments linked to chronic conditions such as diabetes, retinal conditions, glaucoma, dry eye disease and corneal conditions.

We continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation locally and across the state. Services and hours of operation are subject to change in accordance with local, state, and national recommendations and regulations. Some visits may be conducted remotely as Telemedicine Visits using an advanced Telemedicine Platform and some visits will require an in person office visit. Dr. Goff will personally review each appointment to determine the appropriateness of using a Telemedicine Visit. We are actively reaching out to patients with appointments scheduled over the coming days to discuss your options. Our staff will be in touch with you if your appointment must be rescheduled.

We will continue to enforce robust personal protection procedures to keep our patients and staff healthy. Social distancing measures are in place in our practice and we thank you for your cooperation. In compliance with Executive Order 2020-59 we ask that all patients wear a cloth face covering while in our office. We have some available to patients who need one.

Please be aware that all of us have been instructed to stay home if we have any symptoms that could be linked to any viral infections. We ask that you do the same.

If you are sick, stay home.

We are still here to serve the community – and encourage those with acute eye health problems to contact us and preserve emergency room/urgent care capacity for those who are seriously ill.
